8:00am
Our weekly 8:00am Sunday worship is a traditional spoken service of Holy Communion using the Anglican Book of Common Prayer. It lasts about an hour and has a quiet, contemplative feel. Following communal worship, the community gathers downstairs for communal coffee, Timbits and conversation. These three additional comforts provide further strength as we face the challenges of the week. Come and try us out! Come for communion! Stay for Timbits.
10:30 am
Our weekly 10:30am Sunday worship uses a broad selection of contemporary language liturgies from various Anglican and Lutheran sources. The schedule of biblical readings used in worship are most often taken from the Revised Common Lectionary. It also includes a variety of music and programming for children and youth. Following worship, the community once again gathers for coffee, treats and conversation. We look forward to welcoming you soon!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Both weekly services follow the Anglican pattern of gathering together as a community to praise and worship God. We pray together, listen and respond to God’s word, and share Holy Communion together before being sent back into the world to participate in God’s mission.
We welcome people of all ages in worship any and all the time. At St. Andrew’s, children are encouraged to be children! The front right side of the church has extra floor space, a toy box and drawing desk so children of all ages can easily be part of worship while having some space to move around.
If you are unfamiliar with an Anglican way of worshipping, you are invited to just relax and let the community carry you through the sacred experience.
