Blank Canvas Fundraiser
THIS SUNDAY, before and after the 10:30 am service, a painting station is available. If you don’t want to paint the tiles that you’ve donated, please speak with Christine to make them available for others to paint. Our communal artwork is over halfway done with 176 tiles painted and installed!
Children, Youth and Family Ministry
This week Parish Council approved moving ahead with seeking a Director for this part of our parish ministry. We hope to post the position by the end of the week. Please share the information widely and keep this initiative in your prayers over the coming months.
Grounds Improvement
Parish Council has approved moving forward on signing a contract for this project. Our hope is for the work to be completed in May. Thank you for your support, including $27,625 already donated! We ask that you now fulfill your pledge, as you are able, and claim and paint your tiles for our Blank Canvas Fundraiser (see note above).

Parish Photo Directory
St. Andrew’s now has the ability to create a Photo Directory and our own Kara Hallett has kindly offered to be our photographer! Starting on Easter Sunday and for a few of the following Sundays, Kara will be available to take pictures of our parishioners. Our goal is to have the directory ready for June.
New website
Our new website is now up and running! It includes an events calendar and a password protected membership directory (ask Kate for the password). We need your help in filling it out with pictures of you and your family, along with parish events, activities, and groups. Please send your pictures or event information to Kate in the office. Check it out at http://www.st-andrews-anglican-calgary.ca and give us your feedback as we work out any kinks that may arise!
Flower Calendar
The following dates are available for flower dedication: April 2, 2017 and May 28, 2017. Please contact Aline Greaves if you are interested (agreaves@shaw.ca).
Financial News
St. Andrew’s family has rallied to raise most of the funds to update our parking entrance and our Building Committee is working to be ready for completing it soon. Kudos to everyone for their great support. Our operating deficit to the end of March is less than budgeted and the increasing numbers of direct deposits is encouraging.
Did you know….
that in the past 11 years, St. Andrew’s has ended every year except one with an operating surplus? What an accomplishment to celebrate! What more can we do together?!?
Attitude of Gratitude
Thanks to Ginny Betty for so capably covering the Sideperson duties for John MacKinnon while he and Cheryl are away. Also thank you for taking on the care of our bulletin boards outside the Hall.
