Isaiah 62:1-5
We are back to on-line services only for the rest of the month of January.
As per the Diocese letter of Jan 6th, in-person church services have been paused as of Jan.16 until Jan. 30.
“In an effort to do our part, the Archbishop, on the advice of the COVID-19 Task Force, is once again suspending in-person worship in the Diocese of Calgary and asking parishes to return to online services and other non-in-person ways of connecting, gathering, and caring for the people of our parish communities. For those parishes prepared to suspend services immediately, suspensions can begin this Sunday, January 9. The general suspension should begin no later that Sunday, January 16 and will last for at least three Sundays; January 16, 23, and 30. While we hope that this next wave of COVID-19 will rise and fall quickly, the Archbishop and Task Force will further advise during the week between January 23 and 30 as to whether the suspension should be extended past January 30.”

St. Edmund’s Food Bank Appeal
We are once again appealing for help with stocking our Food Bank shelves. We currently find that we are running short on canned goods – especially canned meats (tuna, salmon, ham, etc), vegetables, soups, beans, etc. as well as cereals, snack foods for kids, and jams. The Food Bank is open Monday and Thursday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30 for dropping off donations, or you can call Marilyn (our Food Bank Coordinator) at 403-288-6330 to arrange a time for drop-off outside of those hours (please leave a message and she will call you back). If you would like more information about our Food Bank and how you can help, please email us. Thank you for your support!
