Calgary Drop In Centre Christmas Gift
In 2007, then Chef Greg said he wished he could serve the clients a hot breakfast every morning. That year at Christmas, St. Andrews provided 356 lbs. of oatmeal to the DI..a year’s supply. Since then, through your generous support, St. Andrews has provided the DI with 3325 lbs of food. Chefs Cindy and Glen have requested a gift of coffee again this year. On behalf of the DI Lunch Bunch, I invite you to contribute a donation of ground coffee (no decaf or beans) if you are able, or Carole Thomson will be happy to shop for you if you would like to make a cash donation. The collection basket for the coffee will be in the Narthex as of November 6th. Blessings and thank you from the DI staff and clients…and from the “St. Andrews Lunch Bunch” who so faithfully serve at the DI throughout the year. Carole Thomson

Honey & Vinegar (aka financial news)
Thank you for all you give here at St. Andrew’s! We are happy to report that in September we almost recovered from the summer financial dip, but we have further to go. Our year-to-date deficit is $23,606, (higher than budgeted) but we are confident that we will reduce it by working together over the remaining months of 2018. Last year we eliminated a $13000 September YTD deficit by December 31. Thanks for your generosity! (Additional offering envelopes are available in the Narthex or use the button on our website)
