If you’re interested but can’t attend that night, please speak to Christine or one of the wardens.
Fall Book Study: Sept 18 – Oct 16
Richard Rohr’s “Falling Upward: A Spirituality for the Two Halves of Life”
Join us for 4 Tuesday’s at 1:00pm as we engage with Richard Rohr’s spiritual wisdom: “In the first half of life, we are naturally and rightly preoccupied with establishing our identity – climbing, achieving, and performing. But those concerns will not serve us as we grow older and begin to embark on a further journey, one that involves challenges, mistakes, loss of control, broader horizons, and necessary suffering that actually shocks us out of our prior comfort zone. Eventually, we need to see ourselves in a different and more life-giving way.” Book and/or journal orders need to be in by Sept 9.
Christmas Tea & Bazaar
Our tea is to be held on Saturday 24 November.
Please sign up with your contribution, on the bulletin board downstairs, for baking for the tea and or the bake sale.
All baking is welcome.
Closer to the event will be time to volunteer for the actual tea, preparations, setting up tables etc
Thanks for your support.
