“How Now Will We Believe?”
An Exploration of 50 Years of Theology
Throughout our lifetimes we witness and live through all kinds of changes: in our world, in our church and in ourselves. This fall we will explore some of the ways in which Christian theology has evolved since the 1960’s. We will focus particularly on significant and popular books, theologians and topics through the late-20th century and continue into the 21st century. What have been the most important theological issues of the past 50 years? How are today’s thinkers understanding God, humanity, the Bible, Jesus and our life together on this one planet we call home? Does the Gospel of Christ (still?) have the power to transform communities and lives? How now will we believe?
